This policy explains what personal data pregnancylog.com (the “Site”) collects, why, and what you can do about it. We keep data collection to the minimum the Site actually needs.
Who we are
The Site is operated by PregnancyLog. Data protection contact: admin@adzofy.net.
What we collect
- Contact form. Your name, email address and message, so we can reply. Stored in the Site database and in our email.
- Comments. Your name, email address, comment text, IP address and browser user agent. The IP and user agent are used for spam filtering.
- Newsletter. Your email address, only if you submit it, and only to send the emails you asked for.
- Analytics. Aggregated, non-identifying usage data such as pages viewed, approximate region, device type and referring site.
- Server logs. Our host records IP addresses and requests for security and troubleshooting.
We do not ask for, and you should not send us, health information about yourself or anyone else.
Why we can use it (legal bases)
Consent, for the newsletter and for non-essential cookies. Legitimate interests, for replying to your message, moderating comments, blocking spam and keeping the Site secure and working. You can withdraw consent at any time.
Cookies
Essential cookies keep the Site working and remember your comment details if you ask it to. Analytics and advertising partners may set their own cookies. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; essential functions may then behave differently.
Who we share data with
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with the service providers that make the Site run – our web host, our email provider, our spam-filtering service, our analytics provider and, where applicable, advertising partners – and only as far as they need it. We will also disclose data where the law requires it.
Embedded content from other sites
Articles may embed content such as videos or images from other websites. Embedded content behaves exactly as if you had visited that other website, which may collect data about you and use cookies or third-party tracking.
How long we keep it
Contact form entries: up to 24 months. Comments and their metadata: indefinitely, so follow-up replies work – you can ask us to delete them. Newsletter subscriptions: until you unsubscribe. Analytics: as configured by the analytics provider, in aggregated form.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to processing of your personal data, to data portability, and to complain to your data protection authority. To exercise any of these, email admin@adzofy.net and we will respond within one month.
Children
The Site is not directed at children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has sent us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
Security
The Site is served over HTTPS, access to the admin area is restricted, and we apply security updates promptly. No website can promise perfect security, but we take it seriously.
Changes to this policy
We will update this page when our practices change and revise the date at the top.
